Browsing this website sets no cookies at all. No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no social media widgets watching which pages you read.

There is exactly one cookie in the whole site, and a visitor never receives it: a sign-in cookie for the band's private admin area, set only when a member of the band logs in to update their profile or the events list. It is strictly necessary for that login to work, holds no personal information, and expires.

Consent banners exist because sites drop tracking cookies before you have agreed to them. We do not, so there is nothing to consent to and a banner would be theatre.

If that ever changes, the banner appears first and the tracking waits for your answer, not the other way round.

The band may add privacy-respecting analytics to see which pages are useful. If and when that happens, this page will say so plainly, naming the provider and what it records, before it goes live. It will never be used to build an advertising profile of you, and it will never be sold or shared.

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Settings then Privacy. Blocking them will not break anything on this site for a normal visitor, because it does not rely on them.

You can also send a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. There is no tracking here for those signals to switch off, but we would honour them if there were.
